Internet//Games//Music - Kings of the Media (Finding Paragraph # 2)

Many have made the accusation that the internet, video games, music, etc. influence kids negatively. My personal response was "Internet and things of that nature actually help kids". Evidence was found that  prove my statement wrong. So, the official statement is " Internet, music, etc affects kids in a negatively depending on their amount of exposure to it" One example of how internet affects kid in a negative way is" around 13% of students surveyed reporting that recreational internet use has hindered academic performance" (New Media Effects on Today's Youth). Also, A Swedish study also discovered that children who took on to the genre of rock were probably going to be influenced by friends rather than their parents  (Committee on Communications). So, one could say that prolonged exposures to "fun" could be detrimental, but people are all different as well.
