Welcome To Mii Blogg

Yeah, my blog is pretty straight-forward. "Does the Media affect America's Youth?" is the question. The answer- you decide.! (But don't decide until I finish my project)

- This article describes how modern television shows influence what kids eat. Although, many may think that it is focused on how TV shows show children bad eating habits, it mainly stated how some shows influenced kids to eat healthier foods as well as eating junkier foods. This piece helps me greatly; but, it does not give me all of the information I need to show presentable details.

- This particular article caught my attention because of the topic. It stated how tests say that shows such as "Camp Rock" and "Glee" encouraged kids to join school choirs and bands. This caught my attention because it showed me how influential the media can be; however, it also showed me how dangerous the media could potentially be.

-The article above mainly discusses the internet's effect on "Generation Y". It states that around 13 percent of the students that were surveyed said that their excessive use of the internet altered his grades. I am not really fond of this article. Quite frankly, I think this is boring; however, it presents useful information.

- Out of all four articles, I believe this one is my favorite because it relates to me. I have always been know to love video games and people often told me that I act like the "karate men" I play with on a game. This article talked about video game's influence on the youth, whether it was a positive or negative influence.
